Welp for those who did know we’re here to spill the tea that she is no longer married! The Former America’s Next Top Model Runner Up and actress called it quits with her filmmaker hubby, Joshua Bee Alafia, just barely a year after giving birth to baby boy, Sankara, confirmed by her rep on US Weekly.
We had no clue she had a son either.
Yaya married in 2012 in an outdoor wedding in Pennsylvania. I guess as your success goes up your love goes down, they literally seemed like a match made in Heaven!
Maybe Yaya will use this heartbreak to channel her inner Whitney since she was casted for the leading role in Angela Bassett’s Lifetime movie depicting the late singing legend, which airs January 17.
