Most people who flooded her newsfeed with hateful comments demanded an apology. She didn’t give us one, but she sure did kill them with stats.
I see my Aaliyah movie broke the Internet this weekend,” she says.Of course Suzanne hyped the crowd up to clap after her statement. In case you are wondering if she saw any of the hateful comments on her news feed…she didn’t.
Everybody got an opinion. Well, whether you loved it or you hated it..you watched. My movie was the second highest rated movie on ALL of cable. Not just Lifetime, but all of cable!”
“My entire phone switched to Spanish,” Wendy says. She couldn’t read any of her comments, mentions, or texts because everything was in another language.
Wendy Williams knows that is a bold face lie! She knows she saw her newsfeed blowing up. Especially after she tweeted that “Let me know” was her favorite Aaliyah song (the song is actually called “At your best”) right before the movie aired on Lifetime.
I actually like Wendy Williams. In fact, I was disappointed in her work. I expected her to produce something of quality since she is always throwing shade at everyone else.
The acting was horrible and the movie didn’t feature any of Aaliyah’s hottest songs because they couldn’t obtain a license to use her music. What is an Aaliyah movie without her hottest Jams?
Not to mention the casting was HORRIBLE. The guy who played R. Kelly looked like he should have been casted in Seal’s biopic, not to mention the character that played Dame Dash looked more like “Chance” from the reality show, “I Love New York” on Vh1.
Alexandra can’t act anyway. She needed to do her research on Aaliyah’s mannerisms. Her acting skills are best suited for Disney Channel.
Wendy, since you missed the backlash because your phone language switched to “Spanish”… we’ve provided a few memes below to summarize everyone’s reactions on social media:
